Description

As long as the exploitative perception towards animals exists in the mind of humans, even in the faintest form or disguised by veils of culture, the animals will continue to be deemed as resources and used as such; the injustice towards them, no matter how embellished or regulated their exploitation may be, will remain intact, present, and validated indefinitely by a collective delusion of human entitlement and supremacy.

The parasitic relationship that humans have over animals must be entirely dismantled before the thought about the emancipation of animals can become a reality that actually takes place on this planet. In the meantime, such emancipation only occurs in the daydreams of ex animal exploiters (actual vegans); and, imaginary worlds make no difference to the animals if not brought into reality through determined and collective education and action.

Now, that education and action will never come from a humanity that sees animals as resources; nor from the people who, while pretending to be part of a movement for the emancipation of the animals, continue to hold and propagate welfarist and utilitarian ideas, and therefore perpetuating the objectification and use of animals while conveniently making a career out of it.

Let’s be clear, the false belief that animals are resources and exist for humans to use, is the standard position of humanity regardless of the culture, political scenario, economical system or societal paradigm that we observe. The exploitative perception towards animals is always present and it translates into animal objectification and use.

Welfarism makes part of that false belief in most cultures. The idea that animals are to be used in a ‘fair’ and regulated way and that such measures justify their use. It does not only consist on regulating animal use and ‘improving’ animal slavery but also on the idea that causing suffering to animals is the injustice towards them, when in reality the injustice lays in their objectification and use; regardless of the presence or lack of suffering.

Such an obvious observation has to be established because the current reality of humanity is incredibly exploitative towards animals. So much that even the vegan movement that was created to emancipate the animals from humans; to end the use of animals; even this movement has been corrupted, appropriated and ultimately turned into a veggie fest where welfarist and utilitarian ideas are funded and propagated in the name of ‘animal liberation’. ‘Animal lie-beration’ would the more fitting term.

It’s time to end the lie that has been established as the official narrative. Welfarism and utilitarianism are anti-vegan ideas, and are against the emancipation of animals; against the end of their use. The vegan principle was created to end the objectification and use of animals and not to improve their slavery or legitimate their commodity status.

The emancipation of animals starts from educating ourselves on veganism, by reading the texts by Leslie Cross, who defined veganism, and taking the time to reflect on and understand the very simple definition of veganism, and the importance of communicating it accurately. By doing so we are removing the main obstacle for the emancipation of animals from humans, which is ourselves. Once this is done, with honesty and determined action we can start to communicate veganism to others, challenging their exploitative perception, their use of animals.

None of this requires a conversion ritual, a trial, an initiation on a cult of dark outfits, or a promise made through a handshake. To end the use of animals we need honest and accurate education about veganism: the ethical principle that humans should live without using animals. The recognition of the sentient of animals and therefore of them as individuals, who should never be used. The rejection of our exploitative paradigm towards animals and of any objectifying thought towards them.

Actual veganism questions, challenges and makes evident our exploitative perception towards animals. It is supposed to be uncomfortable and truthful. A vegan message makes the emancipation of animals possible; and humans who have enough honesty and humility to recognize that animals are sentient beings and not resources, that they should live without using animals and therefore end their use of animals; those are the ones who will make animal emancipation a reality.

So, let’s not forget that honesty and humility are essential qualities both in vegans and in those who receive this urgent message; They are essential to recognize the animals exploiters in us, to understand that we should have never objectified or used them, and to put an end to their use, from the very root of it, by dismantling the perception that turns them into resources. The perception that allows thoughts and ideas of using animals to be created by us, mentally and later on physically.

The emancipation of animals will not come through a welfarist and utilitarian humanity but in spite of it and against its exploitative interests.

The time to dismantle your exploitative perception towards animals is now

The time to end your objectification and use of animals is now.
