It most certainly isn’t, but do you know what is a privilege?
Being able to view justice as optional.
Being able to sit so complacently in your position as an oppressor and feel like it’s acceptable for you to oppress because of pathetic, lousy excuses like “convenience” and “taste.”
Being born into the body of the species who isn’t a victim of the largest, most disgraceful act of injustice and oppression throughout all of history.
Being advantaged even within the human context yet exploiting the identities and plights of those who are less privileged than you as an excuse for you to continue oppressing non-human animals.
Being able to find yourself so concerned with vegans taking a stand for justice that you feel far more of a desire to spend time putting out disingenuous talking points like “Veganism is a privilege!” than you do to stop using your privilege to be an oppressor.
Please recognize your human privilege and stop using it as a reason to exploit and oppress the non-human.
